Meet Susan Scharpegge
I am passionate about helping people work through their stories to discover purpose and fulfill their greatest potential. With over 25 years of senior leadership experience, I have dedicated my career to coaching, mentoring and empowering people to achieve remarkable results.
My company, Anchor to Arise Leadership Development, is grounded in a leadership model that embraces conscious living and a desire to “know thy self-first.” I help my clients explore the multi-layered concepts of leadership through the lens of our thoughts, behaviors, and actions.
I Am
I am a certified executive coach and leadership development consultant. My services are grounded in coaching methodologies, and a principal-based leadership™ model that is designed to help people anchor to their truth and arise to their best life.
I am an artist and certified yoga teacher. I bring creativity and the benefits of the sacred teachings of yoga into my practice. I see the positive changes when people integrate mind, body, and soul in their being, relationships, work, and community.
My Beliefs & Values
I believe that our individual leadership competencies are anchored in our core beliefs and values (core beliefs + core values = core purpose). I partner with individuals and organizations to help them gain clarity on their purpose, establish goals, identify opportunities, and unlock their human potential.
I value diversity in people, and I think that every human being is a leader. Whether we are leading ourselves day-to-day life or leading a nation; it is imperative that we anchor to in our individual and shared values to navigate from a place of authenticity.
I consider myself a life-long learner, and I am committed to the process of learning as an essential element of my well-being. I continue to take professional development courses and look for creative ways to share the teachings in my coaching and consulting practice.
To “sutra” or thread together with my mind, body and soul union, I carve out time to paint, ride my bike and throw lopsided pots in the pottery studio!
